QuickBooks Level 1

The class is a basic introduction to QuickBooks including: setting up your business accounts; recording sales and receiving payments; recording non-cash transactions; payroll options and maintaining security. No prior QuickBooks is needed.

The class, held in Charlottesville, is taught by a CPA from Hantzmon Wiebel with extensive experience in QuickBooks training.

The fee is $70 for residents/businesses of the City of Charlottesville and Albemarle County. Residents/businesses in Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Nelson and Orange, ask about our discount.

Peer Advisory Groups Now Forming!

             The CV SBDC new peer advisory program, Business Advantage Circles, is now accepting applications for membership

             Unlike a networking group, this new program provides a confidential, non-competitive forum for problem solving, sharing best practices, and, ultimately, contributing to the success of members’ businesses.  Each circle, which is comprised of up to 8 business owners, prioritizes issues for the group to address and develops solutions that can be utilized.   A facilitator assists the Circle and brings in experts as needed. 

             Circles help take the isolation of out of ownership; fill in weaknesses and share strengths; and help the owner manage the business.

             Circles meet monthly for 2 hours.  The fee is $90/month and discounts are available to area Chamber of Commerce members and other designated organizations.
